Every year on Easter Sunday, groups of people from different Churches join in morning prayer at Jones Beach on Long Island. This year’s service will be held on Easter Sunday, April 20th at 6 am.
Our service will be held at Jones Beach State Park, off Parking Field 6 east of the East Bathhouse. Dress warm and bring beach chairs and blankets.
I attended a sunrise service at Jones Beach this morning – not sure if I was with the “right” group – we are all Christian but I was hoping for a more Catholic influence – do you post a sign where you gather? There was one big group and a few smaller groups – just wondering for the future! Thank you – and Happy Easter!

This service is an ecumenical Christian service. It is not sponsored by the parish, but we support the service and the members of the local community, including members of our parish who put this together. Our parish’s Resurrection Holy Mass was held at the parish. We hope to see you and welcome you.
