Annual Christmas Dinner

We will once again be celebrating Christmas with our annual Christmas Fundraiser Dinner featuring loads of great raffles, prizes & caroling. The Dinner includes delicious traditional holiday dishes! Great food and tons of fun! Lots of Raffles… and St. Nicholas will be there for the kids on Sunday, December 2nd at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $18 for Adults and $9 for Children. R.S.V.P by November 25th to Monika at (516) 794-5189.

Seating is limited to 80. When you call for reservations, please leave your name, phone number and the number of adults and/or children in your party.

Turn left onto Harton Avenue. Harton Avenue is off East Meadow Avenue between Pietro’s Pizzeria and the Chinese Take-Out.

Giant (Huge – Really Big) Yard Sale – June 15th through June 17th

Our Giant (Huge – Really Big) Fundraiser Yard Sale will be held on:

  • Friday, June 15th — 2 pm until 6 pm
  • Saturday, June 16th — 9 am until 5 pm and
  • Sunday, June 17th — 10 am until 4 pm

The Yard sale will be held on the church grounds at 1752 Harton Avenue, East Meadow, NY 11554

Come one, come all! Something for everyone. Children’s clothes & toys. Adult clothes. Kitchen, bathroom, living room stuff. Furniture. Small appliances. Knick-knacks galore.

2018 Blessing of Easter Baskets

All are welcome — as always! Bring your eggs, cooked foods, uncooked foods, baskets or not, covered with a white linen cloth (or not)… Father Andrew will bless your Easter foods in a short, cheerful service on Saturday, March 31st at 1 pm.

This service is a token of gratitude to God for all his gifts of both nature and grace. A reminder that the Lord is part of our daily life and is always among us! Please bring a family member or a friend; help make this old but significant tradition new again!

Best Market Best Wishes Campaign – Join In

St. Francis in coordination with East Meadow Kiwanis will be distributing food collected through Best Market’s Best wishes Program. Locally owned and operated, Best Market is working with us to support those in need in our community.

The goal of the Best Wishes program is to help needy families in our community. The Best Market Team will prepare bags of Best Yet products. The bags will then be for customers in store to purchase to donate to the Best Wishes program.

The bags we will be receiving for distribution include one each of Best Yet Mac & Cheese Diner, Best Yet Peanut Butter, Best Yet Tomato Beans, and Best Yet Chunk Chicken.

The program will run for three weeks, October 31st through November 19th.
